Accessibility has undergone big improvments omboard Pommern. To visit the ship all visitors will cross the bridge from the museum’s terrace. The bridge leads down on deck via a staircase and a lift. This means that even people in wheelchairs and people with strollers will easily be able to come on onboard.
Pommern has three decks and there is both stairs and a lift between decks. The exhibition Pommern – 100 days under sail is experienced on all three decks.
On the top deck everyone can take part of the audio guide and there are separate audio tracks for children and adults. The entrance ticket includes headphones you can borrow and a phone to control the audio track. On the phone’s screen there’s text to make it easier for those who are hard of hearing.
